Protect the wisp target
Needing to keep the rare offscreen targets of the finicky wisps alive is the opposite of fun. I've died at least 10 times now while trying to NOT accidentally kill the eventual rare the wisp decides on. This is beyond frustrating and antithetical to the wild ride you guys are trying to evoke with us chasing the wisp.
Have the wisp pick the target immediately, and encase it in crystal. When the wisp enters the crystal, it will brighten and shatter, protecting the rare from a premature death. That lets us go to town on the mobs in our way without worrying that we're going to kill the rare before the wisp enhances it. Last bumped on Apr 27, 2025, 7:43:50 PM

Yeah I'm finding the wisp encounters a complete waste of time, they don't target the nearest rare, sometimes wandering the entire map and crossing over the same path you just made. Also, rarely you see loot drop from a possessed mob. If you can't/won't give them a better loot pool then give us the wisp's mod for 30 seconds or something to make it feel worthwhile.
