Remove the xp penalty

its just pointless . when you spend a lot of time geting a bar of xp and then its wiped by single death , it really removes the feeling of progresion .

Leveling already takes exponentially longer the higher level you are. Why would they slap a crazy punishment at the highest levels?

Does not add anything to the game. Simply punishes and frustrates players for playing. Not cool my dudes!

Remove it. Im ok with that. Totally. Just wont change anything.
Time will keep you around the same lv you already reach. The xp you loose at a current lv is obsolete for the next.
Make lv100 achievable in the first place. That will solve both problems.

It is a PVE game-as-service, they need time sink mechanics so they could come up with "enough content" for a league during a three-month development cycle.

They can shorten the road to lvl 100, but they would replace it with another long grinding mechanic anyway. People will always have something to complain about.

Really tired of making progress only to be wiped to 0. If I have to join a highly geared huntress just to level up there's a problem with this system...

Honestly, I don't even try to level on my own. I just look for carries.

i spent like whole day playing doing maps then i look down at the xp bar and its still the same XD

when this happens several times more people than not would just leave because they are not making any progress , the leveling for later levels is already insaneli lenghty and now that we got multiple atempts at maps the same map that killed you is pretty likeli to kill you again wiping all your daili progress on 1 map sucks

A few will give up and just leave, sure, but a lot of people will stay chasing for that almost untouchable goal. Sadly, that is how it has been working so far in game-as-service in general. Not only on Poe.

And that is why I avoid those kind of games. I make exceptions only to Poe (which I was on a 3 year break before EA, and I plan to quit again soon) and to FFXIV when they are about to release a new DLC. Sticking with this industry is not healthy.
xp penalty has to go... i don't mind spending money on a game, and i love pretty much every other aspect of the game but as a paying customer, this is an absolute deal breaker
i'd rather see one or two less revives if the goal is to make a death penalty
otherwise i'll go play something else

even if you dont want to remove xp penalty entirely, 10% is too steep at higher lvls... even in d2 you had the option of going and retrieving your body and thus only losing a small amount of xp... for a game that most deaths are bs (i.e. out of player control such as on death effects, getting 1 shotted by a random white mob, etc.) and not skill related, 10% xp loss is out of pocket
