Titan Quest 2 is everything POE2 promised but failed to be

Slower paced combat in a game where it actually makes sense.

No 3 screens of mobs instantly jumping on you regardless of how far they were when you engaged them.

Loot that is useful and build defining. And yes, you actually get loot.

Amazing looking game , OPTIMIZED btw even during beta testing.

Non boring replayability , because it makes sense to make new chars due to legendary/unique items that are actually interesting.

Made by a company with actual VISION.

Thats my plan:

- I really enjoy Path of Exile 2 (after playing D2/D3/D4 many years); it is the best game ever!

- after introducing patch 0.2 : the worst experience of my life.

- waiting for GGG to clear their minds.

- trying Last Epoch: It feels like a game from 2010 and is quite disappointing.

- finally, I am waiting for Titan Quest 2 and in the meantime, I am hoping for a good patch for Path of Exile 2. Will that ever happen?

Ye man , Last Epoch for some reason looks horrible , worse than a mobile game.

Or its just maybe us , we got used to PoE2 graphics.

They also have insanely long loading screens and short afk-kick timers.

Yeah, "Titan Quest 2" looks awesome. I waited a while to take a look at what they are cooking, but I watched a gameplay video recently, and it seems great.

TQ 2 isn't out yet, so we'll see what happens when it is :)

i play old school runescape and i still think the last epoch graphics are a massive turnoff, even after their graphical update. its like high contrast hard on the eyes shit everywhere you go. i dont need good graphics to enjoy a game but there is a certain type of graphic quality that irks me inexplicably and LE seems to have nailed that.

There's something wrong when people start doing comparisons like that...it's NEVER apples with apples and it's always oranges with apples. In other words...it's just romanticized coppe.

I never bother to look at games that haven't released yet, what's the point?

It's surpassed PoE2 by a large margin in its current state, if you fail to recognize that, that's a you problem.

I don't like Last Epoch's graphics either and I think the progression is too easy. However, they have tons of systems that work. Crafting first looked complicated but took me 5-10 mins to learn and loved it. Theres actually loot in the game. I like the passives and the skills, it's meaningful upgrades. I havent hit high enough yet to start trade at auction house but heard it's good.

They have really great game mechanics. Just the lore and graphics suck. If it had POE2 level graphics and combat, it would be a juggernaut.
