Skill tree unspec/respec broke connected nodes

I tried respeccing and then putting a jewel in the available slot but it didn't work. Then realised it wasn't connected and I'm missing a node.

EDIT: I went to char selection and back and now I'm missing a bunch of nodes. I assume they're not actually missing and I have the correct number of nodes but still.
