Last Epoch

So is poe2 going to die to last epoch? The respect for player time seems 0 , I get its 0.2 but and there's quality of life stuff coming but a lot of people didn't even play poe1 and are used to games that you feel like you actually accomplish something in it.

Is there a new dev interview about upcoming plans? any light at the end of the tunnel given new updates for torchlight and last epoch within 24 hours? What incentive is there for "diverse" gameplay when you have to treat the game like a 2nd job to do anything.

I'm afraid we are gonna have to wait at least another month to hear anything of substance. I think they relied on 0.2 to patch things over for a while, so they can start working on POE1.

LE isn't good enough to kill poe(1), eventually it will get there in a few years.

With an engine like LE has, there is not one chance until they upgrade it that it competes with POE2 or even D4.

You can cope with your favorite streamers(paid chill) during the week they will play it but it will stop there.

Their second season, they reached a peak of 80K and all is on steam.
There is no console or Bnet/GGG launcher.

I like LE but the gameplay/feeling is from 1985, graphism from 2005...
Wolcen in term of graphism and impact is mile ahead of LE.

Let me ask you these questions :

Why is it a competition, a fight of life and death between these two games? Why can't these two exist?

Did you ever consider any other option? lol

I'll start with saying there's plenty of stuff to fix in PEO 2. Not going to sugar coat it. But i'm watching a streamer play LE now and i fail to see what the hype is all about. Visually it's very cartoony. Gameplay wise, they are just running past mobs that barely move or stand spinning their weapons in a middle of a group of mobs without their hp moving at all. There has to be at least some type of danger to you as a player. From a couple of vids i saw everybody say crafting is very fleshed out and rewarding so i guess there's that at least.

I love LE and play both but PoE 2 is the AAA Gorilla, LE is AA but actually superior in QoL, crafting and build diversity (IMO).

But it ain't killing PoE 2, lulz

Oh well i play all the ARPG so i do not really care.
I enjoyed inquisitor Martyr or Grim dawn as well.

Just the very toxic crowd lately(negative karens) polluting POE2 feedback thread is constantly referring to LE (like their savior)
I like LE but if you feel POE2 endgame is boring, let me tell you LE is far inferior (even with their latest update that took a year almost, with not even a new class or mastery in the package)

I am just having fun here as the negative Kevin will keep mentionning LE for a week until their favorite streamer (echo chambers) will stop be paid by EHG and moove to next game.
