POE2 New League - No Citadel Lights In The Fog

Hello, I want to know how citadels work in this new league.

I don’t see any lights that would indicate their position on my atlas, and I’m already 2–3 screens away from my starting point in map exploration. Am I supposed to keep exploring until I find one? Or do I need to complete a quest for them to appear?

Last league, I was one of the unlucky ones who spent hundreds of hours exploring the atlas without finding a citadel until they patched it. By then, I had already stopped playing, discouraged by how much time I wasted with no success. I really don’t want that to happen again, and I’d genuinely like to experience that part of the late-game this time around.

I did a citadel last night. The light was in the fog. I don't know what to tell you. It's still working just fine

Were you able to see a citdael light in the fog from the start of your Atlas or did you have to explore it a little bit?

I am experiencing the exact same thing. There are zero "lights" which mark the location of a Citadel in my atlas, in fact, I haven't encountered any as of yet and I just hit level 90. Very rewarding end-game indeed!

Were you able to see a citdael light in the fog from the start of your Atlas or did you have to explore it a little bit?

I've recent just found one. I believe its a proximity thing. So you can't see every citadel location from the very start but when you get closer they pop up. Probably because the map generates as you go out and it dynamically generates citadels around you (I'm guessing).

Lvl 92 and did 50 towers and found no citadels. It's not broken it's just an absolutely horrible system implemented with the least amount of thought possible

I'm going through the same thing no citadel lights in my outlets and I'm like three or four screens away from the starting point
