Map Node Pathing

I am constantly running into nodes that have lines to them, but cannot access that point. The current one I am looking at has a line from a node to a tower, but you cannot access the tower. When zooming in all of the way it still SHOULD be connected to the tower (also only 4 paths to/from the tower). I was making this thinking that maybe the line was just passing through the tower to the node behind the tower, but I cannot access that one either (also 4 paths on that node).
