Vaaling Boss in Silent Cave Unique Map bricks it

I corrupted the boss in the middle of the map with only defeating one side essence thing. It opened the boss immediately and when I killed the boss it didn't say map complete and I couldn't start the 3 remaining essences. Goodbye my unique map :(
