Omen of Whittling not removing highlighted stat

Omen of whittling highlighted a specific stat on my item, used chaos and whittling and it removed another stat entirely. Omen was consumed and it wasn’t 50/50, completely wrong stat was removed.

Was it a fractured item?
Any chance you still have screenshots or exact rolls on mods?

Yes, it was a fractured item. .This is after the whittling was used, but the T6 Fire Damage used to be: T1 (15–19)% increased Physical Damage +(16–20) to Accuracy Rating.

The whittling was showing the reduced attribute requirements as the highlighted item to be removed.
