Vitality support gem blocks Chronomancers Tempolar rift usage

I just took my second ascendancy and put Clarity and Vitality in Tempolar rift. And it didn't work. So I tried using skill at all and put gems out. It worked. It also work with Clarity. Then I decided to put Vitality in my Arctic armour and Tempolar rift stoped working.
