Let's talk about temporal chains map affix
Ima keep this short, the A in ARPG is action. Cursing players with temporal chains is the opposite of action.
I have 19% movement speed on boots, when cursed with temporal chains the spirits can run faster than you can keep up. When cursed with temporal chains, you can't move or roll fast enough to dodge boss mechanic. Now it's not a skill check it's a tank check. That's not action. It's not fun. " temp chains is a MAJOR issue in 1 too, to the point where if i don't have curse mitigation i will avoid running the mod altogether. asmodeus's solution, to use an alt weapon swap tree that specs into the lowered magnitude of slow debuffs, looks pretty good. my char has good access to that b/c i'm in the dex area. not sure what other builds would use yet. ask me about my fursona

I disagree. It's not a problem in POE1. Sure it can be a tough affix, but there are lots of ways to mitigate it if it is not good for your build. Including that they added unaffected by temp chains to temporal rift. If it is really bad and your build can not mitigate it in anyway, you can just avoid maps that have it. It doesn't brick most builds instantly like a lot of the other mods, which are also fine. They have gone pretty heavily on slows in t17 maps, which is difficult for many builds and might be a bit over the top, but I don't think temp chains is the problem
I don't know about POE2, sounds like it might be more of an issue there. |
