Alt-tabbing takes 2-3 seconds after a GPU driver update (4080 Super)

The game kept complaining my GPU driver was out of date. I updated it, and now when I alt-tab out of the game (i.e to the trade site), I get a black screen for about 2-3 seconds. Very annoying.

Before the update, it was seamless. None of the in-game settings have changed nor was I playing on a bordered window.
