Cleansed Modifier - Mounting Greed

I would like to know if it is intended that the modifier on cleansed maps called "Mounting Greed" disappears after the first death, as I died on such a map and after respawning I had lost the buff icon.

To elaborate on this post, the mounting greed modifier is removed on death and not re-added to the character when they are respawned at a checkpoint.

If you portal to the hideout an re-enter, mounting greed is re-applied to the character. So this definitely seems like an unintentional bug.
