Permanent skin transfer?

Seems like a waste for a lot of these new models of the uniques to just waste away because they are not useful in a lot of builds. The art direction has been amazing and I would love to see some sort of pseudo transmog system that isn't just using the bought MTX. Like maybe 20 consumables skin transfers can turn into one permanent.
