On death ground effect durations are insane.

Its just absurd how long some ground effects last. If its not a boss arena mechanic, on death ground effects shouldnt last more than 3 seconds tops. Ive already killed the monster, why do i have to sit around twiddling my thumbs waiting for some blood to ooze before i have to loot?

Pretty much all of monster effects and skills should stop existing after it's killed. Chaos exploding orbs hunting you down for several screens for 20 seconds after the mob's death is just turbo lame, among many other things.

And on-death effects outside of specific boss fights or their minions should not be in the game really, with a very few exceptions. Like that magic monsters mod from PoE 1 where they leave a time bomb in their place, which is easy to see and gives enough time to reposition.
On-death effects don't really add any fun to the game, just a chore of waiting to pick up the loot. In a game where loot is one of its most important aspects. Or good luck spotting 9000+ dps on-death blood pool among twenty other things happening around.
I keep seeing complaints about on death effects but can't think of any that are still an issue (to me).

Burning/blighted ground doesn't do much if a character has moderate resistance.

Frost/shock bombs do barely any dmg (like 300dmg at t15). they most apply chill/shock.

Am I missing some rare OP on death effect?
