ritualist blood boil and herald of blood

I don't know if it's intentional or a wrong interaction, and I wouldn't like to send a ticket because of it, so writing here might be the right place. Apparently when Herald of Blood is active, it makes the Blood Boil (Ritual Ascension skill) not work perfectly, thus not causing Corrupted Blood most of the time, so I don't know if it was supposed to be like that or not, I would like some clarification if possible. (Sorry for possible spelling mistakes, I'm using a translator)

This seems like either an oversight or a really bad design choice.
