Witch: in its current state

Ignoring all the other issues with speed and damage and everything else, I need to speak up about the witch. In general, the witch's bread and butter was it's minions. Why? Because no matter how much you invest into the witch's damage on its own, its _severely_ behind other classes. Our trivial saving graces are that the minions can sometimes grab the attention of mobs and\or we can be an aurabot. But I am positive that is not how the class was meant to be played.
By nerfing the ever loving crap out of minion life & damage, the witch is disgustingly weak. The minions die nearly every pull of packs larger than say 3 and then the mobs obviously just pile on to the witch who was also hamstrung by your energy shield & grim feast nerf. There is no balance between life and damage. The life of minions doesn't even come close to the time it takes to kill packs of mobs. Also, we have _very_ little control over minions. For the most part, they attack what they want and go where they want. When your minions are paper tiger cubs like they are now and you're in some encounter that involves AoE, they just get deleted when they respawn without having any chance to be used for anything useful. If you're going to keep minions the way they are, witches need to be made stronger in both damage and defenses- no matter how much I will be flamed for saying it. Also, I've been playing with an alternative chaos dot witch and its bad. Real bad. As an example, contagion which is probably the highest possible damage you can get, isn't really worth a crap because that high damage comes from the proc off a mobs death.
