Trusted Kinship - Cannot summon second beast

I was playing with two summoned beasts (rhoa and river drake), then I upgraded the skill gem for one and now it says "companion limit reached".

I have enough spirit to summon both, and have tried unsocketing and resocketing them, removing the support gems, refunding Trusted Kinship and rebuying it and still cannot get the second beast back.

I have the same problem, I can only have one activated at a time. Each one requires 42.5% of my spirit so this should't be a problem. Also the fix from the video does't work as I dont have any exclamation marks.

same here. i just get the "Companion Limit Reached" red text and that's it, no second beast allowed. i even tried restarting the client, and no dice
