Incision Consumed by NPCs and Thorns

NPC hits are consuming the player's incision stacks on targets. I first noticed this with the Delwyn and the Sekhema in the act 2 boss fight, but more importantly it applies to beast companions as well.

The new incision mechanic incentivizes players to put 10 stacks on a target and then hit them with a big attack to create a large bleed. Builds making use of this mechanic cannot function if something else is stealing the incision stacks.

edit: Thorns damage also consumes incisions, so if you randomly have it on your gear you will lose all incision stacks on the enemy when you get hit.

Companions too. And I need Bloodlust support gem on Spearfield to get 10 stacks of incision without triggering bleed, so I don't want to link it to my companion.
Yeah quite an infuriating bug / interaction.

my build single target dps is - break armour, spearfield 10 incision, swap to sunder.

Cant really do it when there's an npc with with which makes those bosses painfully slow (my builds trash anyway!)

I hope this isn't intentional
