Same, OP. I'd like to be a male Sorc/Witch(Warlock?)/etc. I recognize it's not a simple feature to add into the game as it requires more Voice Actors/Models/Animations/Skins, but I would appreciate the option.


I admit it's not the most pressing concern for the game atm; but eventually, yeah that would be cool.

Honestly, you could grab a Monk, get Intelligence from the passive tree and take route towards the top centre of the tree. And focus on Wands/Staves. Then your Ascendancy can be the Invoker, which has a bunch of Elemental focused nodes. And that's basically it. You'd be a male wizard.

Yeah that's not authority fallacy. It would help to link to the interview. We don't all have the time to watch every single interview and I'm not going searching for a needle in a haystack because you say it's there.

I gotta admit I would like to be able to select gender of all classes. Im a guy and my whole life Ive been a guy and relate to playin guy chars since Im a guy... shocker.

But honestly game is still fun either way. I got past caring about it.

If we want to get into nitpicking things (I didnt play much POE1 so cant refer to that balance) there is a def bias toward female pref in POE2. Monk/War/Merc thats it for testosterone LOL and they add Huntress when Ranger is already fem. W/E this fem "fad" will pass eventually in the industry.

I think game stability and fixing console instances is significantly more important than the gender of a character...

Does it really matter that much?

Look dearie - whatever was said in the official DOTH vid introductory can never be final - even now they have yet to provide official change log. The only time things will be final is when they are happy with the outcome and stopped updating that aspect of the game.

And back on topic, i do agree that there are many facets of the EA that have issues. Hence EA. But cosmetics add a layer of satisfaction to the game, completely optional (not Pay-2-Win) & provides monetary support to the game, and in a way to the art department for their efforts. It's Win - Win.

Talking about interviews.

There was also one some time ago where they mentioned that they may add gender swap as an MTX. It is really ridiculous to think to know what will happen or not.
- no gender swap
- gender swap as MTX
- free gender swap

are all options that could happen. Time will tell which path GGG takes in the end.

I also hope for it though, would be fun.

Funny I did this exact thing other day and actually ended up interesting combo...beat Geonar and thats as far as I played.

Wand spark/QS second slot with ice strike...I could see that being viable actually.
