Stay Strong GGG, keep April 4th

Hey GGG staff,

I just want to say, do not let anyone convince you to change the April 4th release date.

You have to run at your own pace and do what is best for PoE 2 and the game.

I for one do not play Last Epoch. I also have 10 friends in my guild confirmed do not play Last Epoch.

I really hope you stay strong and do not change the date.

Do not let Streamers complaining change your mind. The idea that you should work around other game releases is insane.

I have 30+ friends I game with at different times and only 2 of them play Last Epoch but almost all of them play PoE

It depends on the company goal I guess.

If their plan is to try and crush or subdue a rival, then the date makes sense. You may lose some players and views on the short term due to the split release, but hope that the other game takes too much of a financial hit to continue. This can of course backfire as well if your update sucks.

If your goal is just to maximize concurrent players, then a staggered release amongst the arpg games make more sense. Everyone gets maximum potential players and revenue.

but think of the poor streamers that have to choose which game to 'create content' for!

I dont get way people compare these two releases other than being in the same category of game. One is just a patch in EA, unfinished game(there should be a lot more) that frankly dont adress most of the stuff that needs to be worked on in the game(crafting,endgame and more) and one is a huge core update of a released game with lots of new stuff.

Way dont content creators talk about that instead of grying about the content that they dont have time to make?

Can't agree there. I had alot of fun in LE when it launched and am kinda excited for the next big patch. Last time I played the end game wasn't very wast, so I'm interested to see what they added ever since. I also really like the SSF mode and crafting in LE.

I'm waiting for GGGs trailer to decide which one to play in april honestly. If PoE2s endgame doesn't dramatically change with 0.2 I'll skip that patch for the time being.

Remember when Blight league tanked hard because it overlapped with a major WoW release? GGG learned from that mistake and delayed another league when Cyberpunk came out. It would have been nice if LE and PoE 2 wasn't that close together but I don't think GGG cares, unless it is their numbers being eaten by something that is bigger than they are.

Personally I'm looking forward to LE and will play that instead of PoE 2. Huntress might be fun but ultimately GGG is doing too little, too slow. Wake me up when we get the other classes.
