Dota 2 The International Championships

I was surprised there was no thread about Dota 2 yet. Atleast the search couldnt find one for me.
I've been watching all the live stream games so far, actually I am listening to the stream right now.
What do you think of Dota 2? I think it's very true to the original. I hope they add rest of the heroes for the closed beta later this year.

I'm a HoN player and DotA2 seems a lot better to me.

Best part has to be the graphics. They look so refined with no clutter, everything is just very clear while still looking great.

I feel a little sorry for HoN though, both being 99% straight up clones of Dota so many people will switch. Perhaps im wrong.

Did watch it a little at the gamescom but I'm not too excited about Dota2..

hope to participate in the beta since it looks much much better than lol+hon and all the other moba games out there

While the graphics look a lot cleaner, The game play doesnt look anything better than HoN. Animations are still terrible, but Im chalking that up to it not being done.

I think its all gonna be up to the balancing.

I played DotA for like 2-3 years and got bored of it, for me it's gonna be the same with DotA 2, but I must say the graphics are amazing, they're not too overused like in HoN and they're not too cartoonish like in LoL.

I think it will still depend on how good the matchmaking system is.
