PS5 performance issues

I'm on a PS5 with decent enough Internet to not have issues with any other game including POE2, but in POE I can't move more than a couple of steps in a map before it freezes and then disconnects me saying an unexpected disconnect occurred. I tried switching to a wired connection for better stability, but the issue hasn't changed at all. I have tried logging in at different times of the day to see if that helps and it hasn't either. I'm in US East. I even tried playing standard to see if the league mechanics were causing issues. Still the same. Took off cosmetics. Nothing changed. I have thousands of hours into POE on both PS5 and PS4 before it. It was never an issue until this latest league. Settlers was fine. I don't know if there are others experiencing this. Wether or not there are I would love to be able to play POE again and simply can't with the current performance issues.
