Tribal Fury (Melee Splash)

Hello, can Melee Splash for strike skills please be a Mastery Passive?

A lot of strike skills (specifically strikes like Glacial Hammer) have no way to Prolif. Chaos strikes have poison prolif, and some strike skills have AOE (Boneshatter) or projectiles (Lighting Strike), but most strikes require Melee Splash for clear. That means they are stuck in the bottom left of the tree (so staff strikes don't work).

Instead of making Tribal Fury (Melee Splash) a mastery passive, another fix would be to change the melee splash support gem. Currently the melee splash support gem gives 0% More damage to strikes and only splashes 60% of damage. This works great when you have 20 overlapping Raging Spirits doing 60% damage! However, melee strikes can't overlap to double hit so this gem offers zero More damage to strikes. So it is meant to be used with strikes, but only works with minions due to overlap.

Thank You GGG!

Pretty sure this support is meant to improve damage projection, not actual damage output. It's the strike melee equivalent of LMP.

And yes, there are a few specific cases where it does increase damage output against tightly compacted enemies (SRS, infernal blow, etc) but it's not the gem you take if you want to maximize single target DPS
I think the best part about tribal fury is it doesnt say the splash is weaker like melee splash support does.

Pretty sure tribal fury's splashes get full damage, as opposed to melee splash support.
