Change ascendancy!

i have a level 92 infernalist, wanted to try blood mage.....reading you cant change ascendancy. This is a no go for me, i will check periodically to see if this changes because i have really enjoyed the game up till now and wanted to try something new but im not grinding out another 90 levels.

But, but, but "ChOiCeS mAtTeR"...

It would be really nice to be able to switch ascendancies. If I have to re-roll the same character to experiment with the other ascendancy, I'm just going to try a different class instead.

It shouldn't be free, but at least let us change ascendancies at the cost of having to re-run trials for the points again or something.

Considering we can completely wipe and respec every other tree in the game, having the ascendancy hard-locked is such a braindead hill to die on.
