Suggestion for Frame Generation and XeSS Support in Path of Exile 2

Dear Grinding Gear Games (GGG),

I hope you are well. And I'd like to say I am a long time fan of Path of Exile, eagerly awaiting the release of the in-game sequel and a big fan of your work. As the much-anticipated sequel to Path of Exile PoE2 setting sail, I would like to offer the GGG team some feedback and suggestions which, in my humble opinion, will really make this game soar to new heights and become an example par excellence for ARPGs.

I think one area in which PoE2 could really go for it is to incorporate modern performance-enhancing technologies like the frame generation and Intel XeSS we now see on high-end graphics cards. It has really become more and more important in today's gaming world, bringing players smoother performance, better scalability across a wide range of equipment and higher frame rates.

Frame generation enabled by NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3, for example, has changed the rate at which games can run, especially at high graphics levels. To take a game such as PoE2 that promises stunning visuals on top of high-speed combat--frame generation would almost certainly be a game-changer. It would not only provide a better experience for players with top-of-the-line machines, but also open the game up to those of us on mid-range or even older hardware.

More, on top of that, I would very much like to see support for Intel XeSS. As an Intel Arc user myself - and it is a minority group - XeSS is without doubt the most cost-effective upscaling solution going. It is a boon to anyone on any hardware whose performance is less than cutting-edge. Once again, having it in PoE2 would show GGG's determination to cater equally for all players, no matter neither their playing platform (hardware was already mentioned so we don't need to repeat it again) nor their weekend horde title.

While I acknowledge that implementing these features will involve a considerable effort, I am convinced that the rewards will be worth it. By embracing frame generation and XeSS, PoE2 would not simply meet but exceed the expectations of modern gamers, confirming its position as a first-rate title in its genre.

All through its history, GGG team has played a leading role in the games industry. Your team has always been creative, and has always put characteristics which pleasure players. This is why I've stuck to you all these years, and long will you continue to do so. I hope these suggestions will help make what already promises to be an awesome game even better.
