Fishing rod not a melee weapon?

As I understand it, a fishing rod is a two-handed melee weapon, yet none of the melee skills seems to be usable with it.
Flickerstrike, Elemental hit etc that does not specify a weapon type does not work with fishing pole. Last bumped on Feb 27, 2025, 8:58:25 AM
