Is Path of Exile 2 abandoned?

There are a lot of rumors that the patch 0.2.0 will be delayed. At this point, I would like to ask; is Path of Exile 2 actually abandoned?

We have a right to know this.

Not a chance. Tencent made 60m on the EA announcement. Its not going in a direction that will attract many POE1 players but there is no way they would abandon it. You are suffering from driveby syndrome. These games have cycles where nothing is appearing to happen then a drop happens.

What players wanted to see in the teaser announcements:

- Improved Atlas navigation
- Towers removed
- Added one big tower at the center of the Atlas where you can activate 4 tablets at once, these tablets affect all maps in the Atlas for the next X maps

What players saw in the teaser announcement

- Boring skills with more clunky interactions
- Boring uniques
- Towers won't be removed
- Towers are now even worse to clear
