Really hating Idols

A few friends and I play together and just cant get on with Idols.

I have a mix of idols for deli and breach, some rituals appear, and so does blight. But without already having the currency to buy specific idols to juice your maps, nothing drops on the floor.

Its RNG ontop of RNG, and gives you little to no control. I usually enjoy completing my map objects, select atlas passives as I go, feeling the difference every 5-10 maps or so.

This just feels, honestly, crap. POEs strong point endgame was the ability to have some major control and preference of your mapping. This is now gone, unless you're already rich enough to buy idols.

I'll continue to T16s, just out of FOMO.
