Heist Contracts Bugged

This has been said many, many times before and all of the previous threads have been archived for some reason with no fix. ANY disconnection, logging out, even simply just walking in and out of a heist area with zero alert level generated automatically deletes quest items from your inventory making it impossible to complete the contracts. For example, "The Kiss Goodnight" poison potion you get during the Karst's Revenge contract is deleted making it impossible to click the "Convenient Ventilation Shaft." It seems like it would be easier to fix this issue than continue getting hundreds of bug reports over the same issue, no?
