Fix vaal orb outcomes for rare items

In what world do i spend 2 days grinding for 15 div for an upgrade to my focus just to vaal orb it and it take off my +2 to all level it took the mana from like 170 to 60?? It took my increased lightning damage from 90% and changed it to 29% spell damage. I'm literally never vaal orbing a rare item again.
I have a replacement but still I didn't expect it to entirely brick it.
What a dumb lesson
