Without the atlas there's no loot on maps

There's a big problem because if i want loot on the maps i need good idols, to get good idols i would need to buy them but to buy them i need to get loot but to get loot i need maps which also don't drop.
Last T12 museum corrupted i did i dropped a yellow and a red map, a unique item and one chaos...
Not a single scarab dropped as well, the best loot i got so far was 1 div that dropped twice and it was from ending the delirium.
Idols would have been amazing if they were an ADDITION to atlas, but now instead to get equal strength of mods to the atlas you need to get to the full end game to unlock all the slots and get lucky idols.

Getting plenty of loot here and I am not even outside of yellow maps yet so I dont know what you are doing wrong.

Maybe you should stop setting all your money on fire buying idols and invest in your build instead.

What good are your idols going to do you when you can't even get to pinnacle bosses?

This is not true: idols have much stronger properties than atlas passives.

One idol can have a 70% chance of a mechanic appearing on the map, not to mention additional properties.

With upgraded idols, you can have all the mechanics on every map, which is not even close to possible on the atlas.
