Trial of the Sekhemas - Honour in Coop.
Quick point of feedback regarding the Honour Mechanic, specifically regarding damage sharing in COOP.
The current mechanic heavily favors certain type of defenses, making coop between Armor / Evasion users and Energy Shield users extremely frustrating. Here is the scenario I am encountering:
Spoiler
I have high Energy Shield, Low Armor & Evasion, as a Sorceress. I have around 8000 Honour. My friend has High Armor & Evasion, Low Energy Shield, as a Mercenary. He has around 2300 Honour. If I take a hit, and lose 700 honour, I just lost 8.75 of my honour. This is fully mirrored to my friend, he loses 700 honour which is 30% of his honour. If he takes a hit, he is likely to lose 200 honour, he lost 8.6% of his honour. This is fully mirrored on me, I lose 200 honour, I just lost 2% of my honour. Essentially, honour lost is mirrored on all player as a flat number not taking into consideration defenses. This means a few mistakes on my part will eliminate my friend while I have still most of my honour. Meanwhile I lose almost no honour from his mistakes. This does not feel balanced or well thought out, if honour loss is to be mirrored it should either be mirror as a %, or be increased reduce with a calculation taking into account defenses. I hope that the future this mechanic will be adjusted to fairly share the honour burden across allies in a way that does not favor Energy Shield and disfavor Armor and Evasion. " You're completely right, but I hope this stupid mechanic will be removed altogether because it's total crap. |
