The results of a major community survey on POE2 in my country.

1st Place: Players say the game is boring because Trampletoe Trimmed Greaves alone can achieve broken performance.

2nd Place: There is a lack of content. (Players are looking forward to the 0.2.0 patch.)

3rd Place: Unreasonable price-cutting by rude players.

4th Place: A few lingering bugs still exist.

There are many complaints about the 1st place issue. Since that one item allows players to enjoy all content without needing expensive gear, it makes other items feel unnecessary.

I understand the 2nd place complaint—after all, the game is still in development.

However, in my country, the number of new players is gradually increasing.

At least, until they see Trampletoe Trimmed Greaves—they enjoy the game before encountering it.

You say a major survey, but don’t mention of how many players. Without a player count the resulting data is impossible to validate as being needed.

Please note I am not saying that I agree or disagree with any of you points. But for the record you can add +1 vote to point 2 that the game needs more content, but that I have faith that 0.2.0 will bring some (but probably not as much as needed in one patch)

Trampletoe are not that game breaking as your ‘survey’ suggests, they are basically explode on death skill but ONLY by the amount of damage you did to the target over its health. So unless you have large damage (i.e. a lot over the monsters health, that explosion is going to be very small). TLDR they are broken on meta builds and not much use without good gear and a good build.

Looking at the survey, then yes GGG needs new content and balance changes.

Here's the survey that OP was talking about:
https://webcast-law.uchicago.edu/toiletsurvey/form/
If people are mainly worried about some random item making it possible for folks to access the game's content then I'd say the problem is in their heads. Stop worrying about how others experience the game. Worry about the game. There's a lot that needs fixing, or complete scrapping and rebuilding(endgame, specifically). It's a lot of work and item balance won't matter if the core of the game is still busted and boring.
1st place:

People worry too much about how other people enjoy or play the game, even people they never encounter in-game, instead of actually putting full focus about the rest of the game and the state it is in for everyones overall experience.

An example of this is if I made a secret character that no one knew about, that was stronger than everything else. It wouldn't affect anyone at all, since there is no direct competition between players, there is no finish line, and there are no game-breaking rewards that affect other players in any way. I actually didn't know about Trampletoe until recently, and I can't logically find a way that it affects MY OWN gameplay because it doesn't, and this goes for every other build in the game as well. Underpowered classes, however, are a whole other discussion since this actually affects and hinders players and their progress in the game while using said classes. I never understood why people refuse to accept multiple gamestyles in a game that doesn't affect eachothers playstyle or in game experience at all.

Completely agree, in my top 3 issues (endgame content and bugs fixes being the other 2) my top concern is loot and fixing it with some basic craft bench sort of thing. But, you are correct that other than exploitative powerful and far too weak classes/ascendancies (not played one but from feedback warrior comes to mind for a weak class) the balance of classes and specific items issue would be wasted time until all classes and ascendancies are in the game.

Im not using Trampletoe and I will never use it. It is absolute trash for my build. I cannot believe this is the top 1 priority for your survey as to why people getting bored with the game. You might be trolling, so I'm just gonna stop there.

There are literal bugs that crashes your hardware, and you need to shut the power down. It can literally damage your computer but somehow Trampletoe made it to the top reason people are letting the game go.

This is honestly amazing.

As an ex PC builder I can say 2 things….
1) either your settings are just too high, this game uses a lot of gpu as well as cpu power;
Or
2) your cooling solutions are insufficient and need upgrading.

That said, there is nothing wrong with a cpu getting this hit and all modern cpus get hot but have throttling (i.e. slow down to stop themselves getting too hot) built into them (not a motherboard option it’s inside the cpu chip)
If the fan noise is too loud or if it’s dirty then it will throttle earlier, so there is nothing wrong with opening up a desktop and using a soft brush and a handheld (small) vacuum to get that dust out (boy even with filters it still builds up over time).
With a gpu that’s too loud even when new and clean (and yes anything modern will also throttle the gpu to protect it) you either need to turn down your gfx settings or, as i have always done on day one with every gpu I’ve owned, install a superior cooling option.
