My POE2 Hype is over. I quit playing poe2 cause its killing my PC

I have tried everything. Optimized everything. I have updated all the drivers and am up to date. I won't be using POE 2 anymore because the performance is subterranean.

Constant stuttering, fps drops without end and my CPU and graphics are boiling. This game is killing my computer and I will no longer support it.

I regret buying early access and it's taught me a lesson. I wish you all the best, but enough is enough.

Im so done with this game. Im sry

greetings and gl everyone

Play it via GeForce Now until you will be able to get a better pc
yeah my cpu can't handle this game too. i mean its fine for casual play but delirium fog + breach + some RARE modifiers are dropping my fps. especially delirious rare attacks (1 throwing small lightning balls other one throwing giant flame sword slash) and a fcking slow down bubble. i guess gaming nowadays is reserved for top notch PCs only.
this game is for new pc, its going to last 10+ year so i'm going to build new pc myself tomorrow. anything less than new, last years high end cpu's will be outdated in few years anyways.as everything in technology envolves fast, larger data stream. in few years am4 will be outdated. so your only choice is to get new pc. minimum AM 5 to last some time.
Performance is one thing but players who've been complaining about heat and similar is a knowledge problem. Over the past 10 years or so manufacturers don't set proper limits on their hardware.

My CPU/GPU clocks, voltage and frame rate are manually set. A game simply cannot make them work harder than I deem. If you have been playing factory settings it's likely degradation has already accelerated faster than it should. This causes crashing and other problems.

I had a friend who was suffering heat and crashing issues with PoE2. Turned out their boost on a 13600k was going up to 58 on P-Cores which is too much for extended use. As result they got the typical degradation that happens when you OC for long periods.

They now have to underclock and feed around 1.47v to the CPU for stability.

If your components are burning while PoE2 is running, this is mostly caused by a lack of good airflow in your case. If you're on a laptop, there isn't much you can do unfortunately, especially with an highend Intel cpu (they overheat) but if using a tower, your hardware shouldn't overeat.

I don't see what's funny about trying to help someone save hardware.

Unfortunately it was too late for my friend and they're stuck with an under performing CPU that for now no longer crashes or produces 100c heat. I also helped them fix some notably GPU sag.

They have to push 1.47v through 50/40/45 and they still go over 80c.
I have the same CPU 1.3v 54/40/45 at 76c with similar air cooler.

That's what accelerated degradation can cause. Their CPU is just going to get worse.
