T15 Bosses are now ********me?
Not sure what happened, but I suddenly am getting one shot by bosses and the notification says I suicided myself. This is every boss at first contact since the Map Tab patch.

Its weird, I've been getting difficulty spikes in Chaos Trial too. Some parties im with its a piece of cake, and some parties we get wiped by white mobs. I only do level 10 trials for the loot, Like I lead two noobs through it to power level them and it was easy, then I'm in a party with a freind (both level 90+ characters) and we get wiped by the first boss repeatedly. I'd like to know what is affectig the difficulty. The token may say "Level 75, 10 trials" but that is NOT what they throw at us.

I almost got wiped just casually walking someone through yesterday too and had to do a double take and do it on my own afterwards to make sure I wasn't imagining it. Idk if they re balanced the scaling based on level or what but it seems to be at random?

I'm beginning to wonder if half my problem with difficulty spiking is the fact the game clearly "rewards" me for getting all 30 atlas passives and starting boss passives but because it never drops actual, useful upgrades I am now about 1500 less Life and 10k less armor than I should have. Assuming we're not dealing with a bug introduced in the new patch, my hypothesis is the game incentivizes using the atlas passive tree to enhance your maps and bosses without nearly the same rate of gear and level progression. It's entirely out of whack. And then because drops suck you're incentivized to take on more dangerous maps than you reliably can handle and it just becomes a downward spiral of the game telling me to fuck off and just play something else that actually respects me and my time. Is it possible you're adding passive points (because why the fuck not) and it's causing you to now die to otherwise clearable content?
Fucking hell, this game's end game is sooooo badly balanced and thought out... |

there is no boss difficultly making them harder to kill you only get easier to take out

" This is just factually incorrect. Go to your atlas passive tree and look up at the boss tree. Once you start putting points into the atlas boss passive tree, you get +1 difficulty to bosses nodes as you path through.
