One more month?

I was hoping new update will be ready at the end of this month. But one more? Yeah, will see if I'm coming back. There is a burn out if you play too much and there is apathy if you don't play for too long.

Agreed it’s a shame that it’s going to take that long but…
I will say that finally we have some communication from GGG and we need more of that (good news or bad tbh), we do get some fun races but personally (as I am done until 0.2.0) I’m going to have some fun with the freaky Legacy of Phrecia event on PoE1 and recommend the same for anyone (even poe1 new players) to do the same if they feel poe2 is a bit stale atm.

Will the economy also reset? So is it like a new league?

But they're giving us a the first ever POE2 race mid-month that's definitely not tailored to the elite players and everyone totally has a chance of winning a Demi. How dare you be ungrateful.

Never forget, their target timeline for the EA was to last about 6 months until release. Now it's 4 months for the first content patch, crazy.

Jonathan said 6 to 12 months, obviously 6 months was optimistic.

Poe 1 whiners got their pity event and that's why this is getting delayed so that of course the 1st Poe 2 season will not overlap with it...

It's fine, nobody expected 6 months to be realistic anyway.
I personally don't think 12 months is realistic either.

Hope for Huntress and some nice Javazon-like skills/gameplay in 0.2.0

One month is better than I hoped for 0.2.0.

Let's not forget we won't get just the Huntress and weapon types, but this will increase the number of builds possible for existing classes.... in theory.

We already have DEADEYE with lightning arrows and fork and chain and whatnot if we want to see more lightning shenanigans. Seriously can you imagine how BORING that would be to have a spear wielding character that throws lightning bolts that... cough... fork.. and cough.. chains.. and cough.. pierce. YAWN.
