Constant Scammers

I've played a few different games with player trading over the years. Runescape, Elder Scrolls Online, Diablo 4, and a few others. This is my first time really playing Path of Exile and I've played many hours of POE 2 so far.

I thought Runescape was bad but this game has the MOST unchecked scammers I've ever seen compared to all those other games combined. Every single day always someone trying to do some tricky shit to scam. Multiple times daily. I report these people and obviously nothing is being done cause so many people try to scam constantly. To the point I just saw 3rd party blacklist apps have to be made just to help keep people from being scammed. More really needs to be done about these things.

This isn't a auction house post but this game really needs one bad with this amount of scammers. If I average 20-30 Trades daily atleast 2-5 are scam attempts.

interestingly i never experienced a single scam attempt in my 750h of gameplay. Are you trying to buy ridiculously under-priced items by any chance?

I've had all sorts of scammers try to scam me but Im not THAT stupid.

1. Scammer messages me out of the blue to beg for currency.
2. Scammer requests to buy one of my joke items and offers far too much for it.
3. Scammer offers wrong items in trade and insists its the correct item
4. Scammer puts the wrong ammount of money in the trade window and begs me to accept.
5. scammer lists mid item for 1ex then when I message him he demands I pay 100x that price.
6. scammer threatens to report on me for not accepting his BS price change.
7. scammer reports me for picking up rare loot in FFA parties.
8. Bots constantly messaging me about Real money trade sites.

But the worst thing of all, was ME being accused of hacking for picking up loot in FFA party, then I was reported and 5 mins later (After I was kicked out of party) I was logged out, I couldnt log back in for 5 mins and when I did the currency I was accused of stealing was taken out of my stash. Then for the next hour there was lag on any loot I picked up.

A moderator was obviously messing with my account to try and figure out if I had a loot bot program or something. Not cool bro.

Dude like literally only point 3 is an actual scam, stop whining.

Plus to me it sounds in some of these cases it's a "you" problem, wtf is a "joke item" you sure you're not scamming yourself?

I just disable all chats (only Local and Whispers are ON)
Never had any scammers attempt.
