Waypoints Proposal
Right now, for most cases the waypoint system is worthless in maps. I have honestly using it few times. Right now it goes like this. Say you want to go from point A to point B
1. Go to the closest waypoint to Point A 2. Click the waypoint > Select the closest waypoint to Point B 3. Teleport there > Walk to Point B Turns out it is easier many time to just walk A to B Here is my proposal: Overlay a grid like layer over the map, and as user explores the map enable the accessible points from grid within the explored area. Once a user is out of combat, display the map at a touch of a button (like we have it today) with all grid waypoints enabled in the explored area, so the player can teleport as needed. If the points are within a certain distance, they could be disabled as it will be easier to walk. This will let you teleport in a previously explored area at will, saving you a lot of running around.
