I have been POE1 for a while now. I usually start with the same class and the same ascendancy, but I always played with completely different builds, relying on different mechanics, skill trees, and sets of unique items — even when using the same primary attack skill. This is one of the main reasons I keep returning to this game.

You are referring to a specific group of players who are not interested in character progression and simply follow popular builds from streamers. Please don’t assume that all players are like this.

Maybe it is fine for PoE1 players, but it is not fine for me as PoE2 player.
It makes the game kind of pointless to play for me.

Did you forget the last 5-6 years of "Necro tears" -- all POE players want is to fuck over other POE players. That's it. That's what 99% of these people care about. Nothing else.


OP you missed my point -- My point is what is happening right now, is what will always always always happen -- HOWEVER, you won't be able to afford it in the future, so don't worry, these builds will not apply to you soon. Enjoy it now, because you probably won't be able to handle it when the game actually becomes challenging.

I play Infernalist. And usually try to avoid "Build of the league" As highigh tier gear tends to be hideously expensive.

Oh, yes. I do like playing infernalist with minions.

there's multiple build that can delete all content and it was alrdy the case before ppl start using trampletoe, maybe in a few days someone will come up with some other cool build (probably not cause there's so many alrdy) and this is with a lot of more item and skill to come so i think we are rly far from everyone playing the same build.

I welcome huge changes and nerfs.

Please attempt to balance the game GGG. We need build diversity.
