Proposal: Integration of a Direct Purchase System via the Website

Current Issue: The item trading system in Path of Exile requires players to contact the seller and both be online at the same time to complete a trade. This creates frustration, especially when the seller is offline, as it's impossible to purchase an item that interests you unless you're both online at the same time.

Proposal: I propose a simple improvement to the item purchasing system on the official Path of Exile website:

1. "Buy" Button on the Website: When a player finds an item for sale on the site, they could click a "Buy" button next to the item (if the seller agrees to sell this way). The player would then need to be logged into their account, and the item would be transferred directly into their stash (or inventory) in-game, without requiring an in-person trade.

2. Purchase Possible Even If the Seller Is Offline: This would allow transactions to take place even when the seller is offline, making items available to purchase at any time. Sellers could list items even when they aren't actively online, and players could buy them at their convenience.

3. Security and Confirmation via the Website: Players would need to be logged in to the website to confirm the purchase, ensuring the transaction is legitimate. The process could include a confirmation step before the item is transferred.

Advantages:

- Easy Access to Items: Would allow players to purchase items without needing to be online at the same time as the seller.
Time-Saving: Simplifies the purchase process without needing to go through a complex in-game trade.

- More Purchase Opportunities: Players could buy items at any time, even when others are offline.
No Need to Change the Entire In-Game Trade System: This improvement would focus solely on the website transaction, without needing to overhaul the in-game trade interface.

- Inspiration and Feasibility: Many other games with market systems already have similar features, where items are automatically transferred when purchased via the official website, simplifying transactions without disrupting the game balance.
