Is GGG Account Support Team on holidays?

My friend got his account locked and after he managed to contact poe2 support they asked him to verify his account and so on. So he did. It's been nearly 2 months and he still haven't heard back from GGG about his account.
I think that's BS that they ask money for theyr game to be played in beta, and can't provide support for people with game/account related issues, so they don't even get to play the damned game.
I liked PoE2. But I don't intend to play it if GGG don't sort out the support for it. I've gathered from PoE2 forum and reddit that there's a lot of people getting little to no help from GGG Support. Hope this changes before Poe2 dies out in beta prior to it's official launch.

Also, make sure your friend hasn't been constantly sending e-mails. If you send more after the first, you get knocked to the back of the line (keeps people from spamming them).

So if your friend has been sending another e-mail once a week or something, that's why. If not, it may still be the CS backup mentioned above.
