Legitmate Thank You (not kidding)
Just wanted to say thanks for the EA, I whinge a loooooot (mostly about warrior) but in fairness its the best EA product I've ever played and I think myself and some others forget that. I hope you continue the hard work and bring out lots more content - skills, areas, weapons etc next patch and don't bother nerfing things.
Until my next whinge thread, so long and thanks again. Last bumped on Feb 17, 2025, 1:47:52 AM

Seconded my friend.
Done a few whinges, and at least a few ill-advised rage posts meself, got into a couple scuffles with the residents... But even in this very early pre-release state, with the couple of grouses and jagged edges that rattle my sensibilities now and then, I've already had way more fun with Path of Exile 2 than I've done with a new release of a game in a very, very long time. |

I think the most important factor is PoE 2 doesnt hit you with the hammer of complicated on top of complicated like PoE 1 did - PoE 2 is really starter friendly, is fun to play and that alone makes it a huge success.
GGG should stay focused to what they designed with PoE 2 and not reroll the entire game only because some cheese & whiners spend their time complaining on the forums all day rather than actually playing the game. PoE2 surely has its flaws and needs further fixing - but its EA and patience is the rule of thumb here, not QQ "... else i leave" posts. ^^ IGN: Phynomea

So how many early access titles have you played? One?
Even borderline scammers like Studio Wildcard (Ark) or Bohemia (DayZ) had a better stream of communication, patches, and content in their early access. And those are universally seen as terrible examples of early access games. This early access is a complete dumpster fire. We're approaching 3 months - so half time on their most optimistic prognosis until full release - and the game has essentially seen nothing meaningful added to it. At all. And the game's performance & stability are a clown show of spaghetti code. They deliberately lied (by omission) to their most loyal (POE1) players to fleece them for more money on the back of promises they knew they wouldn't keep, they lied to Steamdeck players about the performance on it, and then they refuse any and all communication with their customers, while their customer support is taking months to answer legitimate inquiries, mostly by asking nonsense questions just to buy more time. [Removed by Support] I would refund this crap in a heartbeat if possible. But I'm so glad you're happy with the nothingness they're offering. Besides all of that, "thanking" a corporation for a product you purchased from them is not only unnecessary, but outright weird. They have your money, that was your thank you, and the only one they care about. |

" Wrong - its not 6 months; they announced 6-12 months so it can well take until december 25. Almost 9 months of EA to go - why you panic so hard ? The EA has basically just begun. ^^ Stay chilled man, lots of things will be fixed and changed in all that time. IGN: Phynomea

I believe this is the best Early Acces game that I have ever played.
I will admit that I had my frustrations with it mainly because I am not using any build guides and I struggled all by myself and only after 116 hours I managed to get my Monk into endgame and even now I suck at it :))) But, here are my main positive things about the game 1) Even though it's grindy and tedious at the begining, especially without build guides, the ACTS, the story , the atmosphere, are all worth it 2) You really do have freedom to test around with things like build, gear, passive tree points etc, I love the freedom 3) It is definatelly in some areas more challenging than POE 1 and in some other areas it's more easy to understand and follow E.g: Poe 1 is not so easy to understand like POE2 regarding the story, the skills, the builds, but POE2 defintally makes it harder to kill bosses compared to POE1 4) Having new classes , new builds, new ideas to test and try makes it in such a way that you want to get back everytime and play My thoughts about the negatives about POE2 are: 1) We have to replay the entire story / campaign /acts everytime 2) Too many one-shots in endgame and low drop rates to improve your gear to stay alive 3) Too many droung effects / Area of Effect speels from Mobs that last for too long and follow you for too long 4) Bosses drop big AOE slams, orbs etc after being dead and it's annoying especially for a Monk Class that barely managed to kill the boss and did not had enough time to react 5) I think we need an in-game Trading system similar to the Currency-Exchange, I do not like the fact that we have to stay in a web broser to whisper a player, then get back in-game and trade. I genuinly believe POE 2 is the best Early Access game that I have ever played and I love it. I would like to thank GGG for their passion and for delivering such a great game I would definatelly love some improvements here and there, but the game is great, and I am a bit frustrated that I don;t have enough free time on my plate to play it more... I only get around 2-4 hours a week Thank you GGG for this great innovation of a Game, please keep going, take as much as you need to make the finaly release better. But in the meantime, put some lovei nto the Early Access version as well please :D |

" Hey champ I'm 47 and have been playing EA games, RPG/MMO/FPS for the last couple of decade so a fair few. I'm unsure how thanking anyone is weird. I'd say your comment is the weird one since you're allergic to manners. [Removed by Support] In b4 boomer and old man jokes. Have a nice day and THANKS for bumping my thanks thread :) Last edited by Edmund_GGG#4844 on Feb 17, 2025, 1:50:08 AM
