Warrior Bad and Slow They Say

Really?

I mean really?

Finished my first 21% Deli at Monsterlevel 81 including rituals and Max Boss fight (seepage, fully upgraded tree) at lvl 82.

The cost of my current equipment is around 4-5 divines. Nothing crazy.
I spam rightclick Stampede and throw a hammer on people's heads every now and then and things die. Given bosses is still a bit meh but at level 82 and level 18 skill gems and cheap-ish gear? Not too shabby.

It feels a bit awkward too in tight maps but show me a single build that doesn't feel awkward in maps such as Crypt where some design genius figured that filling a tight space with stupid pots and pillars in the middle to block all kinds of skills, is a great idea.

In other words, the clunky maps still feel clunky. But it doesn't matter if I play them on my Gemling, Stormweaver, Bloodmage or LA Ranger. It all amounts to the same stuff essentially.

Given it is not as fast as my LA Ranger atm but then again. Lvl 82 and cheap gear playing T17 21% deli maps. Pretty neat. 15 deaths in total thus far. Not great ofc since I am no godgamer but it is definitely okay imo.

So yeah. Just wanted to share that it does work but I suppose build diversity for non crawling or slowpoke low dmg gameplay is limited atm.

It is possible though to have a good time playing a warrior. I sure am having some fun.

Why did it take you nearly 3 months to try out a warrior?

there has to be some people that enjoy it haha

First of all I only started in mid early Jan, late december.

Second of all, I jumped in PoE 2 with a self-made Poison Ranger with failed gloriously and thus, I found a LA build to follow because I know that ranger is a good starter when you have little to no currency going. At least for me.

So then I got bored of LA at 96 and wanted to get more oomph. So I went to gemling.

Got bored. Went to stormweaver. Got bored went to Bloodwitch.

And then continued to warrior after looking up a build for it.

Why so long? Simple. Because I read that warrior is bad and slow etc. So I did what most people do and stayed away. Eventually I wanted to try.

Next will be a monk I guess. Haven't played that at all yet so yah. I'm super skeptical with new classes/non meta builds but thus far enjoying it.

Also needed to slowly build some currency.

Never said I would start on a warrior to farm fast currency. Just not my thing and yeah it wouldNt be ideal for that.

Simply wanted to say that it isn't as horrible as it is made out to be. My build is def not something you wanna start a league on though. LA Ranger every time. For me at least.
