Seriously. I am a casual player but my goal was to beat the campaign with all 6 classes. I saved warrior for last because of all the negative feedback I've seen. Holy shit, you guys really hate that class. They are so bad and I feel like I can say this given that I have leveled every other class. The struggle is so noticeable it's almost comedic. The Molten Vault boss is literally unpassable, which that boss is bullshit to begin with and should be removed or completely re-worked. Warrior struggles so badly that you literally only released 5 classes because they are so bad they are unplayable.

It's going to always feel bad being true melee when the mobs can push you around like you are an ant.
I don't know what GGG was thinking when they let so many mobs push you around. And then, they design the game where dodging is critically important, and i wonder why getting in close feels bad? Some of these bosses spam abilities so fast that i wonder how you could ever find a window of time to get any melee dps in at all. I am primarily interested in playing Gladiator/Templar and if they don't clean up melee combat, i will find myself returning to PoE 1 instead of playing 2 in the future. |
