Chaos Plants that shoot the purple orbs
1. When I kill a rare enemy, the plants - and their purple orbs - should disappear. Lately, the plants have been appearing AFTER I kill the rare enemy who spawns them. Doesn’t make sense to me.
2. The Chaos Plants should be programmed to spawn further away from a rare enemy. Too many times, I’ve been in melee, striking the bell, and the plants spawn right on top of me, the bell, and the enemy. At that point, the plants and their orbs of death are impossible to see. Instead, you could consider significantly reducing the damage output of the orbs, make them travel slower, and have them make a “warning” noise when approaching a character. Thanks. Please, for the love of god, do something with these damn orbs. Some people say skill issue, or "No, it make this game not brainless," but the orbs ARE a problem.
In certain maps with high mob count the orb spawns are near impossible to see sometimes. I just died because all 3 plants spawned inside burrowers (the chonky worms that pop up from the ground) right after I killed the rare. Couldn't see the spawn. Couldn't see the orbs. Couldn't see the pre-explode effect. Just dead. Add in the chaos and lower visibility of delirium on that forest map with rolling hills and trees that obscure the orbs too, and you have a recipe for disaster. There are several other situations like this, and some maps are more egregious than others. If I know they are there, they are fun to deal with. It's extra spicy if 2 or more rares are together that both have it, and I like spicy. The problem isn't the orbs. The problem is being able to know that there are even orbs around. A stronger audio or visual signal could fix this. Perhaps the plant itself could be more glowing and distinct, instead of the stealth grey that it currently is. |
