That single node "chills on you have their effect reversed" can mean you can get crazy CRAZY action speed......that is nuts, like speed hacking the game. Combined with ghost of the deep and tailwind boots, omfg.
Can the game physically keep up with such an action speed buff, coupled with attack/cast/movement speed? I feel like you are going to hit the action cap (30 actions per second) rather quickly, and end up with a super jittery, busted nonfunctional build that crashes the game. Self-Chill builds have been a thing for a long time now.
With all due respect to all PoE2 newbies coming in, please don't try to also give feedback on PoE1... Love the games. PoE1 way more so than PoE2, but still enjoying both. Hate the company. The scummy, lying, fake and shitty facade, the excuses, the failures, and most of all, the "Vision". Keep both of those in mind when reading my posts. I have never used winterweave....i stand corrected.
To the player above: not every single person who plays PoE 1 has done EVERYTHING in PoE 1. I have 18000 hours....never once played a self-chill build. No need for the instant hostility, just correct me like the first guy. Saying "with all due respect" doesn't remove the instant a..ness of the post. " This is so unnecessary. Self chill has been "busted" more times than I can count and even if you delete that node that ascendancy is still going to be busted. The fucking RIGHT side will be busted AND the left side will be busted by themselves I'd bet. I think there's two whole busted ascendancies in their lol. The OP may or may not be new, but they are observant and correct and not deserving of some passive aggressive nit picking. Also feedback is allowed from any description of POE player and trying to squelch it with condescending gate keeping is certainly against the TOS. Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years. |

Surfcaster definitely looks very strong and there's potential for game breaking builds in there. But that's also true for the harbinger and vaal ascendancies.
I'm expecting there to be a ton of extremely broken builds in this event, which is why it's only lasting a month. I think ggg are going in with the expectation that anyone who actually plays for a month is going to be killing ubers, and just allowing everything to be broken. |

you should look into the elementalist self chill builds with fulcrum. 40-45% action speed. i cant remember which it is. look at the ascendancy. You cant do it with self hit (that i could figure out) heisters use this tech. Lab runners too maybe but i dont know anything about that.
A lot of the tech is kept secret though |
