Two things need to happen for the one month to be a success
1. Maps need to be sustainable without the atlas tree. It doesn't matter how it's done, maybe just buff the drop rates? But it needs to be more or less the same map sustainability.
2. Relics need to be very common. You can make super good OP ones kinda rare, but we need to see maybe 3, 5 a map. I understand reddit is shitting itself but I think the ascendancies will likely be OP and will make up for most issues, other than the two above. Poe has evolved beyond the state of scrounging for map drops, do not bring the game back. No one cares about standard. It's literally a recycle bin, just press empty. I'm not even thinking of the endgame in the event yet - I am much more interested in trying out the ascendancies :)
If I get to endgame, then I would hope to get enough maps to sustain me. Nothing worse than running out of maps. 😹😹😹😹😹

You forgot the most important thing. ^^
1) This has to be a patch for both leagues not another seperate league that would split the community even more! German saying: Schönheit und Funktionalität in Sekundenschnelle zu ruinieren, ist dem wahren Dilettanten keine Herausforderung!

" They usually if not always do have a separate league. Start from scratch, you know, the usual. I've played just about every single one for goodness knows how long, it's always a separate thing. Some get voided, some get migrated to parent league. 😹😹😹😹😹 I do not and will not use TFT. Gaming Granny :D 🐢🐢🐢🪲🪲🪲 Last edited by xjjanie#4242 on Feb 11, 2025, 4:53:45 AM

" I know but I still don't see the reason for it. I mean imagine you played Kalguur, then you played Kalguur Lantern Edition and now you would have to level up that godforsaken town for a third time? Sorry, but I can't see any sane person want to do that. I'm not a fan of "if you don't like something don't play it" responses as a reply to someones feedback. But in this specific case we're talking about a mechanic thats not been balanced around in the core game by GGG, so its entirely optional. Personally I plan to 100% ignore the town myself.
The time you spent upgrading the town, getting resources, and then bopping back and forth baby sitting boats and mappers and endlessly fighting fuckface the pirate; is arguably just as well spent just mapping yourself and ignoring the league mechanic. Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years. |
