Corrupting charms

Does corrupting charms do anything, or am I just getting unlucky?

charms dont do anything, so corrupting them doesnt do anything either.

The thawing one seems to work for me, so your statement can't be all true.

Charms are bad. You are going to be res capped. You are going to have enough life (read: threshold) unless you're caster meta. They do nothing for any other build.

Don't corrupt them. Don't pay for ridiculous overpriced belts with more slots. Ignore them.

I am just trying to maximize the value I get from the one I get for free. I am not looking for opinions on how well balanced they are, just if corrupting can make them better.

You are correct. I apologize. Next time I log in, I'll corrupt whatever I have and give you feedback. But from what I've seen from a certain database, no, it won't do anything. (I can't see any other mod pool for them).

Addendum: I have seen them drop with quality, maybe vaals can add to that. More testing inc.

What did the quality do?

That also makes sense, maybe I just rolled negative quality every time.

Duration on the two I've got. I've got a bunch of strongbox tablets (+chests which I can mod for quality with currency) so I'll see if I can get something neat for science.

Not entirely true. Was bored and tested out an interaction with Catalysis, Pragmatism, and Elemental charms. Each charm generates 200 guard on use. Pragmatism gives them infinite charges and Catalysis converts 5% of physical received into random elemental damage.

Interaction worked and I constantly generated a ton of guard cycling thru charms. At any time I had 2-3 charms active on my buff bar up top, which meant guard city, a free replenishing health pool.

It’s obviously outclassed by Regalia but sometimes I just want to have fun.
