Ranged characters on PS5 have a massive disadvantage (auto-aim issue)

Ranged characters on PS5 have a massive disadvantage (auto-aim issue)

Playing sorceress on PS5 is just awful at endgame... Died 30 times over 4 hours and only raised 1 level cuz of this issue.

Since you only have one righthand and one thumb, it's impossible to click on your skills and look in the correct direction at the same time.

When the mobs are approx 5-10m from you, the auto-aim of the character does not work anymore, it's not facing the mobs anymore so any skill activated while walking backwards at that distance, does not hit the mobs. It's very weird that you can see the mobs halfway your screen, but the auto-aim just stops working. This isn't a problem for people using a computer (mouse to be exact).

I wish i could upload a video, but anyone playing on Playstation will have the same problem.

Since ranged characters aren't compatible for Playstation, i'm forced to make a melee character which sucks cuz it limits the fun a lot. I like the sorceress and want to keep playing with her, but it's just not fun anymore...

Please dev's, do something about the auto-aim, fix this issue please.

For the sake of feedback, Im playing Merc and having no issues with aiming. I have the aim lock on and am off screening most things.
Thanks for your feedback.

In the most recent patch we added customizable targeting in the Bind menu. Does adjusting these help with your issue?
I can't find any bind menu in settings.
the easy soloution ist to bind your main skill to R1/R2 so you can use both thumbs to walk and aim. Thats wha i do and it works fine.
Can confirm bow and ranged skills feel better on xbox and on my xbox and ps5 I don't have this auto aim issue. My ps5 seems to have an issue of having the auto-aim switching/selecting targets slower than the xbox. This is with default settings for both consoles.

P.S. Naburos I think the auto-aim max distance is static and doesn't scale on app setup to screen size, smaller screens can target enemies slightly off screen, and based on your feedback larger screens may not be covered in the auto-aim radius

Hold down touchpad an the bottom option on the wheel is bind menu, not sure when/where it ever explains this in game though.

Lol I found that in skill bind menu. Should be in settings under controller tab. Anyway thanks 😊.
